The advantages of applying to these institutions are:
  • Students avail of reduced fee structures from the normal advertised costs.

  • These Colleges / Universities have few students in their classrooms i.e. 15 to 30 students; where they get personalized attention.

  • An added advantage, when fees and living costs are going up all over the USA, is that students know in advance the fee structure of each college / university that they will apply to.

  • A common application form for undergraduate and graduate students.

  • Students opt for three universities according to their preference and the form is forwarded to the universities in order of the preference given.

  • No application fee.

  • With the application a deposit of $500 is forwarded which is adjustable with the fee structure. On admission, this deposit is paid immediately to the college / university for reserving the seat for the student.

  • The deposit of $500 is refundable incase of rejection by the university / college or in case of student visa denial.

  • However, a student who is admitted but who then decides to cancel his going for any reason at all (apart from visa rejection), will forfeit the $500.

  • FSL is the only group that refunds the deposit. No other Institute refunds the application fee/deposit in the event of the admission not being granted. A big plus point for students.

  • FSL does not insist upon students taking either the SAT or the TOEFL tests to qualify for admission.

  • However, to avoid any contention in the visa procedure, for some countries such as India, we recommend that students do the SAT & TOEFL tests as the US Consulate does ask for the scores.

  • It should take a maximum of 4 weeks to receive an intimation from your first choice of college / university as against other institutions which take 3 to 4 months to reply.

  • On receipt of admission, FSL forwards the following documents by fax: -

    1. College / University letter of acceptance.
    2. FSL's acceptance advice.
    3. FSL's Invoice for funds to be sent either by a Bank Draft or Teleremittance.
    4. On receipt of these funds (tuition, room & board) FSL processes the I-20 with the concerned college / university.
    5. It takes ¾ weeks before we receive the I-20

  • Funds can be paid in two modes: -

    1. Full yearly payment of tuition, room and board fees as per the FSL tariff minus the $500 sent earlier as a deposit. OR
    2. Two payment plan, as per tariff minus deposit but plus an additional $500 as handling / processing fee for two transactions in the academic year. (The second payment has to go around mid/end December but well before the second semester starting in January). Incase of Visa rejection the fees paid are also refundable as FSL guarantees this.

List of attachments along with the application:
    1. 4 passport size photographs
    2. Transcripts
    3. Photocopy of the passport identification page.
    4. Deposit of $500.

Additional attachment for Graduate program applicant: -
    1. Two recommendation letters in sealed envelopes
    2. GMAT score (Compulsory)
    3. TOEFL score (Compulsory)

  • As mentioned earlier there are 21 partner colleges / universities from which to choose for various subjects. In case of any difficulty you may always refer to us and we will assist you in choosing a suitable college.
